Last evening, the Alloway Township Fire Company was dispatched to the area of Sawmill Road for a reported motor vehicle crash.

Brush 19-4, Tender 19-5, Ladder 19-6, and Rescue Engine 19-9 responded. Ladder 19-6 arrived on location and confirmed a single-vehicle crash with one patient trapped. Deputy Chief 19-10A established Telegraph Road Command.

Rescue Engine 19-9’s crew quickly extricated the patient, who was then turned over to BLS 6-8 and Medic 7 for treatment and transport.

Following the extrication, Rescue Engine 19-9 and Brush 19-4 responded to Alloway School to establish a landing zone for the medical helicopter. While Tender 19-5 and Ladder 19-6 stayed on location for road closures. Chief 19-10 held Alloway LZ while crews assisted with operations.

This also marks the 2nd call for service for our new Rescue Engine since placing it in service on Friday. Already making a great impact in our community!

Today marks a historic day for the Alloway Township Fire Company as we officially take delivery of our brand new 2026 E-One Rescue Engine. This apparatus represents a major investment in the safety of our residents, firefighters, and surrounding communities we proudly serve.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Alloway Township Committee for always putting the residents first and for their support and dedication in helping make this project a reality. Your commitment to public safety and the future of our department is greatly appreciated.
