The Vision of the Alma Police Department is to provide the mission accomplishment with a high degree of crime reduction, accident prevention, and the appropriate investigation and apprehension of offenders. Our Community Policing Goal is based on a collaborative effort between the Alma Police Department and our citizens. This helps to identify problems of crime and disorder and involves all elements of the community in the search for solutions to these problems. We strive to be productive in policing and remaining aware of developing crime trends within the city. Our citizens are our partners and OUR BEST assets in reducing crime and related problems. Citizen involvement is very much appreciated by all members of the Alma Police Department.
