Need plans for this weekend? Tonight, the Alma Public Library will be hosting Family Movie Day with a showing of the The Good Dinosaur (a must watch if you haven't yet), and tomorrow night City of Alma Parks and Recreation in collaboration with Alma Action Association will be hosting Alma Alive in Wright Park, featuring inflatables, kids games, yard games, and dueling pianos (always a hit). Back-to-back nights of fun, free family activities happening right here in Alma.

Please be advised that there is a street closure on Pine Avenue to repair a watermain break. See proposed detour routes below. As long as all goes according to plan (fingers crossed), the road should be reopened by the end of the week.

On Monday, August 24th, please join us in celebrating the completion of the building expansion at the Alma Transit Center with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Gratiot Area Chamber of Commerce. Check out the new space and get a tour of the building. We are lucky to have such a strong transit system in our community that continues to make improvements to enhance the rider experience. Thank you to the Transit staff for all of their hard work and working through construction over the past year to see this project through. We appreciate you all!

- Sign up for our weekly newsletter. You can register your email address from the home page of the city's website.
- Sign up for text message alerts. This helps us be able to send out mass text messages in cases of emergencies. You can register for the text message alert system on the home page of the city's website.
- Make sure you have an email or phone number registered with your utility account. This allows us to contact residents faster if we identify an issue with an individuals utility account. You can to see if we have accurate information on your utility account by calling city hall during office hours or emailing Rachael Parker, Utility Billing Clerk at [email protected]. Please include your service address or account number when emailing.
