📬 NOTICE REGARDING "VOTER REGISTRATION NOTICE" MAILINGS
We've received several phone calls from citizens who have received a mailing titled "Voter Registration Notice" informing them that they may not be registered to vote.
The mailing pictured below was NOT sent by the Bacon County Elections Office or the Georgia Secretary of State's Office. It was sent by an outside organization.
❌ MYTH:
"I received this letter, so I must not be registered to vote."
âś… FACT:
Not necessarily. These mailings are generated by a third-party organization and do not mean your voter registration has been canceled or that you are no longer registered.
What should you do?
âś… If you know you're registered at your current address, you don't need to do anything.
❓ If you're not sure, don't guess—call us! We'll gladly look up your voter registration record and let you know your current status.
Bacon County Elections Office at (912) 632-5551
One important thing to remember: Receiving this mailing will NOT remove you from Georgia's voter registration list and does not affect your registration status in any way.
Our goal is to make sure Bacon County voters receive accurate, official election information. If you ever have questions about your voter registration, don't rely on a postcard or social media—call your local Elections Office. We're always happy to help.
Please help us spread the word! Share this post on your page so your friends and family know they can contact the Bacon County Elections Office directly for accurate voter registration information.
