Coffee County Extension will host peanut maturity clinics on the following dates from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. noon at the Coffee County Extension Office located at 709 E Ward Street, Douglas, GA:
• Tuesday, September 8th
• Friday, September 11th
• Monday, September 14th
• Friday, September 18th
• Tuesday, September 22nd
• Friday, September 25th
• Tuesday, September 29th
• Friday, October 2nd

Sample Tips:
1. Sample peanuts nearing or at 120 days old.
2. Pull a good, representative sample for a more accurate profile.
3. Bring peanut vines to assess any potential peg strength issues.
4. Take different samples if more than one variety in the field.
5. Bring samples of 180-200 pods, include all large and small pods.
6. Know plant date, variety, vine condition, and disease pressure.
