Shadyside Park in Almena - Saturday August 15th 10AM to 3PM. Come on down for a day of cars and fun!! In addition to awesome rides, there will be a silent auction, bake sales, kids games and food. This is a great opportunity to come together as a community to help a family in need.

Almena Fun Days is here!! The "Biggest Small Town Truck & Tractor Pull in Northern Wisconsin" starts Friday July 31st through Saturday August 1st at Shadyside Park, Almena. Admission is FREE so bring the whole family for a fun filled weekend.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July!! Shadyside Park will host Al’s fireworks starting at dusk tonight. Come join your neighbors in a celebration of America’s birthday! Fireworks are sponsored by Jackie’s Fireworks, Almena Community Club, Almena Fire Dept, Nordquist Trucking, Synergy Cooperative and many other supporters.

The expiration date on vouchers for spring cleanups has been extended by two weeks due to our outage.

Notice to Residents: To improve safety for everyone, the Village has installed new stop signs at the intersection of Park Ave E and Washington St. These signs are now in effect. Please use caution as drivers adjust to the change and help keep our community safe.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 4th at Shadyside Park starting at 10am. The event is sponsored by the Almena Community Club. If the weather does not cooperate, the event will move from the park to the Village Hall at 131 Soo Ave E.
