A reminder to everyone. Lincoln County Fire Protection District #8 has a burn ban in place. As does all of Lincoln, and Grant County as does DNR state wide. Here is a link to the DNR Burn Portal use video. Remeber to stay safe.

Fire Department Open House - TODAY - Thursday, June 12th at 6:30 PM at the Almira Fire Station!

We're thrilled to showcase our new and improved equipment, including:

- Our brand-new ambulance, ready to serve our community!
- A recently acquired wildland engine, courtesy of the BLM's Rural Fire Readiness Program.
- Our refurbished 6x6 water tender, fully overhauled and operational.
- Special Guest: AIRLIFT NW Helicopter

To sweeten the deal, we'll be serving ice cream sundaes for everyone to celebrate our new additions and the hard work we've put into better protecting our town.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

- Meet your local firefighters and learn about their role in keeping our community safe.
- Tour our equipment and see the latest technology in action.
- Get a close-up look at the AIRLIFT NW helicopter and learn about their vital services.
- Bring your family, friends, and neighbors – we'd love to meet them!

New Year’s Eve party! Join the Almira Fire Department by ringing in the New Year! We celebrate east coast new years! Yes at 9:00pm! This year we are bbqing a whole hog! We will also have our silent and live auction also. Find your favorite firefighter for tickets, there are only 100 of them. $40 a ticket.
