Operator’s note: I would like to thank everyone for their cooperation with the blue flags marking the water meters. This assisted us in locating meters during the snow and assisted the fire department of finding a meter during a fire recently. It helped out new personnel in locating meters. Mowing season is coming, so if you need to remove the flag, please replace it when finished. Thank you, again.

Just reminding everyone to please check for leaks from this cold. Check under sinks and outside hydrants. A lot of people are having this issue and this will result
In a higher water bill.

01/23/2026

Just a friendly quick reminder. The office will be staffed on Friday to collect any payments. The office may be closed early next week If road conditions are bad.

01/22/2026

With the winter storm approaching, we would like to remind everyone to take the following precautions:

Draw up some extra water for emergencies in case of water outage.

Note: some people let their faucets drip during extreme cold to prevent frozen lines, but remember this may cause higher water bills. A 1/8” water stream (the size of an ink pen tip) produces about 2.2 gallons per minute, 3168 gallons per 24 hours.

01/21/2026

Just a friendly reminder with cold weather coming in please make sure your pipes are insulated, your crawlspace is sealed up. After cold weather is over check your meter to make sure the leak detector is not spinning, and as always please remember our furry friends!! Keep unfrozen water out for them, keep warm dry bedding and plenty of food and shelter it’s going to be bitterly cold.
