Durfee Hot Springs is a natural hot springs that has been in the Durfee family for four generations. Began as a public pool in the 1920's, it was remodeled and reopened in 2005 by owners Larry and Jackie(Durfee) Henson. We are located in Almo, Idaho, next door to the City of Rocks National Reserve and the Castle Rocks State park. Climbers and visitors from around the world and many here locally co

me to climb, hike, camp, and play in our beautiful valley. After a day of hard climbing and playing they love to come and soak at the springs. If you have never been to our valley it is worth the drive.

Fall hours are Thursday and Friday 4-10 pm and Saturday 1-10 pm. Bring on the cooler weather!!

What a sad thing if the City of Rocks or Castle Rocks were to burn.

If you're planning a visit to the City of Rocks, please be aware that a fire ban is still currently in effect due to high fire danger. Help us protect these incredible landscapes by following the current restrictions.

❌Not Allowed:
- Wood Campfires
- Charcoal Grills
- Gas Fire Rings

✅Allowed:
- Propane stoves for cooking

Even a small spark can start a wildfire, so please do your part to help keep out parks, wildlife and visitors safe.

Before your trip:
- Pack a propane camp stove if you'll be cooking.
- Plan for campfire-free evenings with games, stargazing, and storytelling.
- Always dispose of smoking materials safely and never leave them on the ground.

We are experiencing a pretty severe drought in our area so we have decided in order to conserve water this summer that we will not be open on Tuesdays. We will be closed Sunday-Tuesday. Our summer hours will be Wednesday-Saturday 1-10 pm. Hoping that things will turn around and we will get lots of moisture this summer and lots of snow this coming winter! Our summer hours will start June 3rd.
