Hello all! We will be having our annual Chicken BBQ at the park during Almond Community Days again this year! Sept 12, 2026! Come by and say hello to some of our devoted volunteers and enjoy some Chicken Dinners! We will have them for sale noon until gone! Halves are $9 and full dinners are $15. Hope to see you all there! If anyone is interested in volunteering, feel free to come by and inquire as well, we are always welcoming more to our team!

Be in the Bicycle Brigade this year! There will be an adult leading the charge early in the parade so kids can still enjoy the rest. You must be wearing a helmet to ride in the parade.

A few of our newer members had the opportunity to participate in an Air Pack training hosted by the Alfred Station Fire Company, who graciously invited neighboring departments to join them. A huge shout out to Alfred Station Fire Company, we hope to do more mutual training in the future!

Tonight's training focused on becoming comfortable wearing and working with air packs while on air, as well as learning to safely and strategically navigate through various obstacles in simulated emergency situations.

We are grateful for neighboring departments that are always willing to work together and train as a team. A huge thank you also goes out to our dedicated volunteers who continue to give their time to learn, train, and better serve our community when emergencies arise.

🚨We've had a few people reach out asking if the Fire Department would be placing a bulk order for reflective address signs to help make homes easier to locate during emergencies, as well as for mail and delivery services with the address changes and/or sometimes hard to locate areas.
