CHAIN LINK FENCE REMOVAL:
The Almont Community Park Board is seeking proposals and bids for the removal and disposal of 500 feet of 12-foot chain link fence, posts, cement anchors and all associated hardware currently surrounding the tennis courts at the Almont Community Park located on Water Street. Holes from the post footing removal must be filled and leveled. Interested parties should be aware of the large tree located at the south end of the tennis courts. Do not attempt to remove any part of the fence that has become embedded in the tree and not cut the embedded post. Please indicate how the material will be disposed of as it is the desire of the Park Board that the material be either re-used or recycled.
Interested parties may contact Mr. Dennis Sweers by email at [email protected] or by phone at 586-306-3451 to arrange a site visit if interested. Proposals should include company name, experience, removal process/procedures,
references and must be insured and bonded providing documentation. The proposals will be evaluated on the basis of the experience, proposed process/procedure, references and cost. The Almont Community Park Board is not required to award a contract based on price alone.
The closing for bid submission will be 1 Sep 2026 and may be submitted to the Almont Municipal Building C/O Community Park Board, 817 North Main Street, Almont, MI 48003.
