The Children’s Advocacy Center of Northeast Michigan is committed to protecting children and supporting families by providing prevention, advocacy, awareness, multi-disciplinary intervention, assessment, and treatment of child sexual and physical abuse. The Children's Advocacy Center is one part of a project, The Children's Behavioral Health Initiative, a collaborative representing 25+ agencies committed to expand behavioral health services to children in four counties of rural Northeast Michigan. The project is funded by a grant from the W K Kellogg Foundation and will provide services and support to children, families and agencies within Alpena, Alcona, Montmorency and Presque Isle Counties.
