Suddenly I received 10 reservation requests within 10 hours, then correctly guessed why. Official Hidden San Diego and California (great website!) posted about the Shire two days ago. https://www.facebook.com/groups/hiddensd/permalink/733420220832178/

At least most are for the cooler seasons. Alpine is so hot that I block off most of the summer from Airbnb bookings. I want all my guests to be super comfortable, including the bedroom loft.

The Shire loves its special guests, and they love the Shire as much as I do.



Thanks to the Davidsons for building this piece of art with him, for themselves 50 years ago. It still comforts the souls of all who stay.
