The Alsip Fire department is proud to have an ISO (Insurance Services Organization) rating of a 2 out of a 1-9 scale, 1 being the best. The Alsip Fire department also has personnel that are specially trained in Hazardous Materials responses, Technical Rescue, and Fire Investigation. The Alsip Fire Department staffs a minimum of 8 Firefighters/Paramedics on duty at all times between the 2 fire stat

ions. Equipment includes 3- Advanced Life Support Ambulances, 3- fire engines (2 are equipped with advanced life support equipment- ALS engines), 1- 100’ ladder truck, 3- staff cars, 2- fire prevention cars, 1- service vehicle and our fire safety trailer. Personnel include; 2 chief officers, 6 lieutenants/ paramedics, 27 firefighters/ paramedics, 2 civilian fire prevention officers and a department secretary.
