Altamont Fire Department is thankful to have received the Tennessee Department of Forestry & Agricultural Grant. We received new wildland hose, adapters, and nozzles. This new equipment will be placed on our brush truck so we can further assist Forestry with wildland fires.

Altamont Fire Department is proud to be one of the agencies to receive the Tennessee Fire Marshall Grant. With this grant we have purchased new pre connect hose lines for all of our trucks, a thermal imaging camera, and portable digital radios.

Altamont Fire Department, is set up this morning at the Grundy County High School for Career day. We are encouraging the youth to join there local fire departments.
