Pursuant to the Altamont Community Unit District #10 practices permitting community organizations to reach a larger audience through the schools, attached is an informational sheet regarding a SAFE presentation. Registration for all returning students will be conducted online for the upcoming school year, with no scheduled in-person registration for the District. The online registration will be available through TeacherEase, opening on Monday, July 6, 2026, and closing on Monday, July 27, 2026. After this period, parents/guardians will need to visit their respective school offices to register their students. Once you have completed all sections of the registration process and the fees have been paid, you will have access to the normal TeacherEase Parent Portal.

*Please watch your email for additional detailed information on this process.

For those without access to online registration, we will have kiosk stations set up in both school offices, and staff will be available to assist with the process. If your student is attending an Altamont CUSD #10 school for the first time, you will need to come in person during this same time frame to register so we can collect the necessary documentation for enrollment. We encourage parents to call ahead to ensure someone is available on the day they plan to visit, as summer hours may vary.

Altamont Summer Soccer Camp is back!

Whether your child is just learning the game or looking to sharpen their skills, this camp is a great opportunity to develop fundamentals, build confidence, stay active, and have fun with fellow Indian soccer players!

📅 Camp Dates: July 20, 21 & 22
📍 Location: Altamont High School Soccer Field (behind the school)

⏰ Camp Times
⚽ K–1st Grade: 9:00–10:00 AM
⚽ 2nd–4th Grade: 10:15–11:15 AM
⚽ 5th–8th Grade: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM

💲 Cost
• K–1st Grade: $40
• 2nd–4th Grade: $40
• 5th–8th Grade: $60

👕 Register by July 3rd to guarantee a camp t-shirt!

🏆 STATE FINAL QUALIFIER 🏆

Congratulations to Brock Wendling on qualifying for the IHSA Class 1A State Track & Field Finals in Shot Put! Brock earned his spot at state with a huge personal-best throw of 15.97m (52-4.75), placing him 7th among all state qualifiers!

Brock will compete Saturday, May 30th at Eastern Illinois University’s O’Brien Field, and we could not be more proud of the hard work, dedication, and determination he has shown throughout the season.

Good luck at State, Brock — the entire community will be cheering you on! 🔥💪
