🚨 Extreme Cold Alert: Protect Your Water Pipes & Service Lines 🚨

We are getting alot of calls! With frigid temperatures settling in, frozen pipes and water service lines become a serious risk. A little preparation now can prevent burst pipes, loss of water service, and costly repairs later.

Here are some simple but important steps residents should take:

🔹 Insulate exposed pipes in basements, crawl spaces, garages, and under sinks
🔹 Keep your heat on—even if you’re away, maintain indoor temps above 55°F
🔹 Let faucets drip slightly during extreme cold to keep water moving
🔹 Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate
🔹 Seal drafts around foundation walls, vents, and pipe penetrations
🔹 Disconnect and drain outdoor hoses and shut off exterior faucets if possible
🔹 Know where your main water shut-off valve is located—just in case

⚠️ If you notice reduced water pressure, no water, or signs of a frozen pipe, contact your water system or a licensed plumber immediately. Acting early can prevent a small issue from becoming a major emergency.

Staying proactive during extreme cold helps protect not only your home, but the entire water system. Stay warm and stay safe! ❄️🏠💧
