Is your voter registration up to date????

As part of the Annual Checklist Verification process, approximately 350 Alton voters (who have not voted since April 1, 2021) were removed from the voter checklist on August 4th, 2026

If you are unsure of your voter registration status, now is the time to verify it.

To register to vote in New Hampshire, you need a qualifying voter ID. Following a recent law change, student IDs are no longer accepted as proof of ID.

Town Clerk’s Office will be open today 6/5/2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, solely for absentee voting purposes. This is the deadline to request and return an absentee ballot in person. (Must have ID).
