The Progressive Democrats Club at Penn State Altoona provides an open forum for students whose political leanings are left of center. The club organizes events, bringing relevant issues, struggles, and debates to the attention of the Penn State community and the nation at large. Events include hosting debates, bringing in speakers (local candidates and former politicians), and non-partisan voter r

egistration drives. In accordance to the statement that the club is an open forum of ideas, the club holds debates within its own club and other organizations on campus.
