..Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern Huntingdon and Blair Counties through 400 PM EDT...
At 329 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Altoona to near Duncansville. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Altoona, Huntingdon, Hollidaysburg, Tyrone, Roaring Spring, Bald Eagle, Lakemont, Bellwood, Warriors Mark, Williamsburg, Duncansville, Tipton, Spruce Creek, Birmingham, Franklinville, Raystown Dam, Horseshoe Curve, Ski Gap, Royer and Sinking Valley.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
