You must be a High school graduate also with a 2 to 4 year degree in Criminal Justice. You must attend a Police Academy, and the Humane Society Police Academy. Every 2 years you will need to be re-certified in Animal Cruelty and Law. You will be must be appointed by the courts in your county to serve.
