The Town of Susan Moore is pleased to announce that the 2025/2026 road paving projects has been completed on Burgett Road, Bulldog Road, Max Haynes Road, Painter Road, and Mount Moriah Cemetery Road.

We are thankful for the opportunity to work alongside the Blount County Commission to make much-needed road improvements for our residents.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation while this work was being completed. We are proud to continue working together to improve our roads and our community.

Thank you to the Blount County Commission for partnering with the Town of Susan Moore to make these improvements possible.

🌿A Friendly Reminder to Everyone Visiting the Bruce Phillips Park in Susan Moore 🌿

We love seeing families and friends enjoy this beautiful place, but it has come to our attention that some visitors have been leaving behind trash and other items after enjoying the creek. The Town of Susan Moore and Friends of Locust Fork River kindly ask that everyone to help keep this beautiful place clean by picking up your garbage when you are leaving and putting it in the trash cans provided.

Please respect the park, the creek, and those who come after you. If you bring it in, please take it out. A few extra minutes spent cleaning up your area helps keep this place beautiful and safe for everyone to enjoy.

Due to the anticipated severe weather conditions, the storm shelter has been opened and will remain available for use until the threat has subsided. We urge everyone to remain vigilant and monitor weather updates.
