Earthbound Environmental Solutions, LLC Earthbound is Eau Claire & Altoona's only 100% LOCAL choice for curbside garbage, recycling, and organics (aka compost) disposal.

With the “Forward” motto of this great state we believe that now is the the time to dramatically change the landscape of waste management services. Locally, our community needs are changing and with those changes come inherent challenges. Recognizing the need for a larger landfill diversion program, the team at Earthbound started work in 2012 to bring an organics recycling program, in combination

with traditional waste management services (garbage and recycling), to the Chippewa Valley. Earthbound is proud to support our Eau Claire and Altoona neighbors, both residents and businesses alike. Our company was founded in 2014 based on our passion to preserve our Earth and our community. At Earthbound, we are more than just a garbage company, we are a community partner. We care because this is our local community where our families and friends live and where we have chosen to build our lives. We see an abundance of potential within all community members, many of whom already share our same passion. Also, as patrons of our local businesses we want to help business owners have a greater choice on how they impact their community.

R.I.P Betty White! Well, Kinda… After about 20 years of service, the crankshaft in Betty White failed and severely damaged her engine.

With a whole lot of budgeting, saving and a little bit of elbow grease, we hope to have Betty operational later this summer.

We are doing our best to maintain route operations with little disruptions. Please keep Betty in your thoughts as we work to navigate this new challenge.

This past April, three of our incredible local schools showed us the incredible impact we can have when we work together towards a greener tomorrow. A massive shoutout to Elementary School, Elementary , & Putnam Heights Elementary School ! Together, through our recent compost fundraiser, these amazing students, staff, and families raised over $2,000 in order to fund upcoming in-school sustainability projects.

To the students: Your passion and dedication are sparking a movement, proving that you are never too small to make a difference. You're not just learning about sustainability - you're leading the way and inspiring a brighter future for our entire community. 💚

Thank you to everyone who bought compost & supported this green initiative.
We can't wait to empower even more local schools to join the movement next year!

There is currently an active fire in the Margaret/Sherwin Ave area. Please avoid the area and give emergency crews room to work. Smoke can be seen from quite a distance, and roads may be blocked as firefighters and police respond.
Hoping everyone involved is safe and that crews are able to get it under control quickly.

These kids put themselves out there and asked for your support and you showed up. Together we raised over $1100 to support the waste to revenue initiative that is now putting real fundraising dollars back into the hands of our students!!!

Thank you for your support with our Compost Fundraiser. All together we raised $1165.00 towards supplies for our gardens and green initiatives! If you ordered compost and did not pick it up yet, please pick it up today between 9-10:30 at Manz Elementary (near playground). Thank you!
