HELP US TO PRESERVE A PIECE OF ALTOONA'S HISTORY!

The Altoona Area Public Library is thrilled to announce that it has recently been gifted an extraordinary original painting by renowned local artist Joe Servello.

This vibrant, one-of-a-kind work of art is presented in a panoramic format, with colorful images flowing together to depict the story of The Magic Flute, Mozart’s beloved opera. The library is excited for the opportunity to display this masterful work of art. However, because of its impressive size—100 inches by 36 inches—the piece requires professional mounting, framing, and preservation by a custom framer. The cost of this work is $5,500.

We need your help to make this possible!

If you have enjoyed the other original Servello works throughout the library—most notably the beautiful mural in our Youth Room—imagine being part of preserving another piece of his remarkable artistic legacy for our entire community.

Every gift makes a difference! Your contribution will help professionally preserve, mount, and display this exquisite original Joe Servello painting for generations of our community to enjoy.

As a special thank-you, all donors will be recognized on a plaque displayed alongside the framed artwork, creating a lasting record of the community members who helped preserve this special piece of local art.

Choose from:
⭐ $500 - Masterpiece Patron
⭐ $250 - Legacy Patron
⭐ $100 - Art Preservation Champion
⭐ $50 - Community Art Supporter
⭐ $25 - Library Art Supporter

Help us bring Joe Servello’s The Magic Flute to the library walls—and keep this remarkable work of art alive for years to come!

Stop in the library to pick up a donation form or call us at (814) 946-0417 ext 120.
