Modoc County Republican Central Committee This is the Official Page of the Modoc County Republican Central Committee located in NE California. The meetings are open to the general public.

We are YOUR Republican Central Committee, at the service of the community to promote fiscal responsibility, economic growth and limited government. Our meetings are the 3rd Thursday of the Month at 6:00 pm in the Sheriff's Annex located at 211 E 1st Street in Alturas, Ca. The Committee is made up of members from each of the 5 County Board of Supervisors' Districts in Modoc County. Members of the C

ommittee must be registered Republicans and the number of seats per District is set by law. We currently have some vacant seats and are looking for people who are willing to work to make the Republican Party in Modoc strong and vital. The committee is dedicated to educating the community on issues important to the Republican Party and our community as a whole; recruiting & supporting conservative candidates; and maximizing Republican voter turnout. The Republican Party supports the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, Capitalism, Free Enterprise, a strong National Defense, Deregulation, and Conservative Social Policies. We will be using this platform as one of our means of pushing out communication to our community and highlighting events for Republicans in the area to become involved. We encourage you to invite others to this group, and to attend our monthly meetings.

We are your local County level chapter of the California Republican Central Committe. This is where you can get involved and be a voice. Without strong County level groups the State and National Republican organizations suffer.

In California the Governorship is a VITAL part of the Primaries, in order to have at least one Republican on the ballot in November it is important for every Republican to get out and vote, otherwise we will end up with two Democrats on the November ballot!!!!
