🦇Happy International Bat Appreciation Day!🦇

Did you know, with over 1,400 different bat species world-wide, bats make up nearly 20% of all mammal species? Bat species vary in size, shape, habitat, behavior and so much more. We recently had what appears to be a woman ring turned into the visitor building here at the Modoc NWR.

If you have lost a ring recently, please stop in to pick it up. You must be able to describe the ring without looking at it first to ensure it get back to the rightful owner.
