This Monday on Main Street, we’re highlighting our trip to the Main Street Now Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma, attended by Board Member Alicia Lobaugh and Program Director Kelly Beane.

As a Main Street organization, we’re proud to have a working board made up of dedicated volunteers who invest their time and talents into the success of downtown Altus. Conferences like this provide valuable training, fresh ideas, and opportunities to connect with Main Street leaders from across the country.

By investing in professional development, we continue strengthening our organization and bringing new ideas and energy back to our community. Thank you, Alicia, for attending the conference and for your dedication to Main Street Altus!

We have so many reasons to be grateful at Main Street Altus, but after celebrating our 27th Annual Rock N Rumble, we are especially reminded of the incredible support that surrounds everything we do.

First and foremost, a very big thank you to all of our sponsors! Your generous support makes this event possible year after year, and we are truly grateful for your investment.

Special thanks also go to our dedicated board members for their countless hours of planning, hard work, and behind-the-scenes efforts: Lindsay Reid, Rick Hammock, Kevin English, Alicia Lobaugh, Samantha Braker, Kyle Williams, Arriea'una Davis, Brayden Lehew, Allen Collins, Jacy Kerr, and Barbara Tims.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the City of Altus and the hardworking crews in Parks & Rec, Streets Department, Sanitation, and the Electric Department; the Altus Police Department; City Manager Gary Jones; Mayor Robert Garrison; the AAFB Air Command team; the Altus Chamber of Commerce; Smiley’s and Fancy Nails for allowing us to use their lot as the cruise turnaround; Biskitheadz and 9 Mile Hill for providing incredible entertainment; Miss Altus Foster, Miss Altus Teen Elle, and our Star Lucy; our many volunteers under the tent; auditors, judges, vendors; and everyone who gave their time, talents, and energy to help make this event such a success.
