🚨ARMED ROBBERY🚨
Altus Police are investigating an overnight Armed Robbery that occurred at the Stripes Store, located at 421 North Main. Altus Police responded shortly before 2:30 a.m. Monday morning. The victim told Police the suspect entered the store, pointed a gun, and demanded cash.

The suspect is described as a male subject, wearing a dark-colored hoodie, dark ski mask, and dark-colored jeans. The suspect left the store on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. There were no injuries reported. Police are awaiting store video as the investigation continues.

🚨BURGLARY/THEFT🚨
Altus Police need your help after multiple reports of burglaries and thefts were reported in the southeast part of Altus, at Industrial Park.

Monday morning, employees of the City of Altus Electric Department discovered that suspects had stolen a variety of tools from 4 separate work vehicles. Preliminary estimates of the property taken is approximately $50,000 dollars.

Suspects also entered the property at the Boll Weevil Eradication Agency, located at 704 South Veterans Drive. Suspects stole gasoline from a truck and also a 25 gallon chemical tank.

Suspect(s) also damaged a vehicle by attempting to remove a catalytic converter at the U Keep Key Storage business, located at 400 South Veterans Drive.

Monday afternoon a blue trailer with a Lincoln brand portable welder was reported stolen from the property of the Altus Water Treatment facility, located at 1427 North Spurgeon.

Police are looking to identify the suspect(s) involved and are searching for a white in color, 4-door Ford F150 pickup. If you recognize the individuals and/or vehicle depicted in these photographs, you are encouraged to call the Altus Police Department.

The Altus Police Department took a report of a "Peeping Tom" incident & would like to make the public aware. Altus Police are also asking for the publics help in identifying the individual who was captured on the victims home surveillance cameras. Screenshots from the video footage depicting the suspect are posted below.

This particular incident happened at approximately 12:46 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022, in the neighborhood that surrounds the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

🚨🚨DOUBLE HOMICIDE🚨🚨
The Jackson County Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting deaths of two people that happened on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

Shortly before 3:00 p.m., on June 18th, Altus Police responded to multiple calls of "shots fired" in the area of the 700 Block of East Nona. Police discovered the bodies of two male victims in the area of the 900 block of Newlin Drive. Those victims were identified as 18 year-old Steven Jackson and a 16 year-old juvenile male.

🚨ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT🚨
The Altus Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who held two clerks at gunpoint at the Dollar General Store on Thursday evening. The photographs depicted are from the store video surveillance footage. We are asking anyone with information pertaining to the identification of this suspect to please come forward.

**PREVIOUSLY RELEASED**
Altus Police are investigating an Armed Robbery at the Dollar General Store, located at 300 South Main, that was reported at around 10:00 p.m. on Thursday night.

The suspect entered the store and pointed a firearm at an employee and demanded money from the cash register. After the robbery, the suspect exited the store with an undetermined amount of money and was last seen running in a northeastern direction.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6ft 1 in tall, wearing a red hoodie, black pants and a black facial mask. There were no injuries reported. Police continue their investigation into this robbery.
