Since January 1, Booker’s Place has served over 115 children right here in our community, each one with a story that deserves to be heard, believed, and supported.

We are proud to stand alongside our multidisciplinary partners, including Detective Lieutenant Jonathan Almanza, who work every day to protect children and seek justice.

I am happy to announce thatI did not draw an opponent and will have the privilege of being the District #3 District Attorney for the next term. Thank you for all the support, contributions and preparations to help if the campaign had to continue. Thank you to my campaign team for all their support and hard work.

I filed today to continue to be the District Attorney for District #3. The campaign is ready to shift into high gear! Thank you for all the support.

I spent last week in the Kiowa County Courthouse prosecuting the State of Oklahoma vs. Chad Carl Cummings. The jury found Mr. Cummings guilty of Count 1 Murder in The First Degree and recommended Life in the Department of Corrections and Ct. 2 Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Mr. Cummings will be sentenced in June. I am thankful for the citizens that served on the jury. Citizens jurors are the keystone of our legal system. I believe everyone who is qualified should serve on a jury at least once. It is our civic duty. Many Americans have served and some made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could do our civic duty.
