Congratulations Ember Sandoval! She’s off to great things in her upcoming college years!

Congratulations to the ten students who were awarded $1,000 Young Farmers and Ranchers scholarships! Nine scholarships were awards to one high school senior from each OKFB district and one scholarship to a Collegiate Farm Bureau member. The scholarships were awarded to students who plan to pursue a degree in an agriculture-related field at an Oklahoma college or university and who desire to contribute to agriculture and rural Oklahoma.

Calling all second-grade teachers! Registration is open for the OKFB's Foundation for Agriculture's sixth-annual Watermelon Challenge! 🍉

During the challenge, students will grow their very own watermelon from seeds provided by the foundation for a chance to win prizes. The challenge illustrates the hard work and effort Oklahoma farmers and ranchers undertake when growing and raising food. Registration is open through April 17 at okfb.news/4rGh6mg along with more information!

Woods County Farm Bureau is offering one $250 scholarship to a Woods County high school senior. You must be enrolling in an institute of higher learning in the fall of 2026. College, community colleges and technical schools are all eligible. Applications can be accessed through your school counselor or picked up at 227 Oklahoma Blvd. Deadline is Friday, April 17th at 5:00 p.m.

It's Farm Bureau Week!! We will have donuts and hot coffee on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., stop by and say hi. If you are out at the county wide livestock show today stop by the kitchen and grab a bottle of water on us!
