Looking for something to do? The Alva Public Library has you covered! You can Join Mandi every 2nd Friday starting Sept 11th and learn how, then work on creating your own comic (Did you know there's more than one kind of comic?!) for 3rd grade to adult. No Sign up Requried

For Middle School through Adult we have a Junk Journaling day September 21st from 5-7pm. All supplies will be included (But you're free to bring your own pictures if you want to!) This one does require sign up! Please comment below or call in to get signed up!

Today Nelda Villines will be here at the library! Learn about her memoir, From Oklahoma to Africa: My Journey, which tells stories of her time abroad, including tracking gorillas in Uganda, working during a military invasion in Lesotho, and supporting local communities and children

We are looking for Citizens of Alva who would be willing to give us their recorded history of Alva. These recordings will tell of your life in Alva and will be available for the public to listen to.
