A huge THANK YOU to the crews from Enid Community Corrections Center and the City of Alva PPWP Crew for lending a hand this week!

These crews worked side by side to load and unload some very special Christmas decorations that will be making their debut in Alva this holiday season. 🎄✨

Community partnerships like these remind us what can be accomplished when everyone pitches in. Your hard work behind the scenes is helping create something that will bring joy to our community for years to come.

Around here, we believe in second chances—for people, partnerships, and even a few tangled strings of Christmas lights. ✨

Four men. One facility. A whole lot of pride.

Today these participants represented BJCC at the State Games, and we couldn't be more proud of the way they carried themselves. They competed hard, supported one another, and represented our facility with class.

The road to success is built one positive decision at a time, and opportunities like this remind us that growth happens when people are willing to step up, take a chance, and challenge themselves.

Win or lose, these men were winners today because they showed up, gave it their all, and represented BJCC well.

Congratulations, gentlemen. Your BJCC family is proud of you!

Father's Day can be a complicated day.

For some, it's a day of celebration. For others, it's a day of reflection, regret, gratitude, or remembrance.

Regardless of where you are in life's journey, the role of a father matters. Fathers teach, guide, encourage, and sometimes provide the tough lessons that help shape who we become.

Today we honor the dads, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who have made a difference in the lives of others. We also recognize those working to become the fathers their children deserve.

The greatest legacy a man can leave isn't found in what he owns—it's found in the lives he touches.

Another RDAP class has graduated from BJCC.

Against all odds, despite being asked to follow rules, attend groups, accept feedback, complete assignments, and occasionally take responsibility for their own decisions...they survived.

In all seriousness, we're proud of these men. Recovery requires courage, humility, and a willingness to do things differently than before.

Today they leave with more tools than they arrived with and a better opportunity to build a successful future.

Congratulations to our newest graduates. We look forward to seeing what comes next.

And to the treatment staff...thank you for continuing to do the tough work of helping people become the best version of themselves.

Another RDAP class is in the books at BJCC!

Change isn't easy. If it were, everyone would do it. These graduates put in the work, challenged themselves, accepted accountability, and committed to becoming better than they were yesterday.

Today we celebrate their accomplishment and the courage it takes to confront addiction head-on. We know the journey doesn't end with a certificate, but completing RDAP is an important milestone and a step toward a healthier, more productive future.

Congratulations, graduates. Keep doing the work. The best chapters are still ahead.

To the moms who answer every late-night phone call, send the letters, put money on the phone account when they probably shouldn’t, pray harder than anyone knows, and refuse to give up on their sons…thank you.

This journey through treatment and change doesn’t just impact the trainee standing in formation or sitting in class. It impacts the families walking beside them every single step of the way.

A strong support system matters, and behind many of these men is a mom quietly carrying hope, accountability, worry, frustration, and love all at the same time. That kind of support deserves recognition too.

Today we celebrate the mothers who kept believing in growth, even on the hard days. Your encouragement matters more than you know. ❤️
