🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Remember
Today, 25 years later, we pause to remember September 11, 2001 — a day that forever changed our nation.
We remember the 2,977 people who lost their lives, including the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, EMTs, and other first responders who ran toward the danger while others were running away.
We remember the first responders who climbed the stairs, entered the buildings, treated the injured, searched through the rubble, and never made it home.
We remember the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness displayed that day — and in the days, weeks, months, and years that followed.
For those of us in EMS and the emergency services, September 11 carries a special meaning. It reminds us of the responsibility we share every time the tones drop: to answer the call, to help those in need, and to stand ready when others need us most.
Today, we honor those who were lost, those who survived, and the countless first responders who continue to carry the physical and emotional scars of that day.
25 years later, we remember.
We honor.
We will never forget.
