Happy Monday! We hope you had a great weekend! Xaye recently had a fun opportunity to test his balance, coordination, and strength while navigating a high ropes course challenge! He bravely climbed all the way to the top of the tower and then made his way down on a zipline...his favorite part of the course! He had so much fun! 🧗‍♂️ ⛑️ 🆙 ✅ 💪 🥰

A couple of weeks ago, we once again had the privilege of hosting the annual tractor show for the Panhandle Antique Tractor Association - PATA! These antique tractors are always so fun to see firsthand! Our children especially loved all the various tractor games and skills competitions! Such a neat event! "Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. Happy Friday! We hope that you've had a fantastic week! The last few days have been a lot of fun for many of our children! They've been attending parades and pep rallies because tonight is homecoming! There's also excitement in the air because the Amarillo Tri-State Fair & Rodeo starts today! (*Cue the theme song from Jaws.) Have you ever thought about swimming with sharks? When the Williams Cottage girls visited the Oklahoma Aquarium this summer, they got about as close as you can get! They were able to take part in a face-to-fin virtual reality experience called "Shark Dive" where they learned about tiger and hammerhead sharks that live within the crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas! 🦈 🦈 🥽 🌊 🤿 🏝️ 🥰

It's been another great day at High Plains Children's Home! Last month, Blaze was recognized with the "Courage Spotlight" award in the Axe Cottage. He earned the award by frequently showing kindness to everyone and for always looking for ways to help others! He has such a big heart and we're so proud of him! 💫 📜 🏆 🌟 🥰
