Square Mile Community Development We are an Amarillo based nonprofit that serves the Texas Panhandle through The PLACE, urban farms, and our PATH program. Holler at us!

We support refugees, grow fresh food, and help neighbors launch businesses—building a stronger, more connected community together. Urban farming, Small business development and support for low income, POC, and women owned businesses, Food distribution, COVID relief, Teaching & Training, Domestic and International community development, Spiritual care, & a bunch more! We do work geared towards the

long game. Transformation, development, & investment in individuals, families, and communities. We stay busy trying to do the best with what we have.

🌱 **Registration is Now Open for Our July/August CSA Box!** 🌱

Good morning! We are excited to announce that registration is now open for our July/August CSA box.

This season's box will feature the best of summer's harvest, including fresh tomatoes, melons, peppers, and other seasonal produce as they become available. Everything is grown right here on our urban farm on 6th Street using natural growing practices—without chemical pesticides or synthetic chemicals.

Spaces are **extremely limited**, so don't wait if you'd like to participate! To learn more about the CSA program, pricing, and pickup details, please text **(806) 410-0152**, and we'll be happy to provide additional information.

📅 **Registration closes Monday, July 6th.**

A huge thank you to First Presbyterian Church, Amarillo for spending part of their Saturday serving with Square Mile!

A great group of teenagers and adults helped replant our community beds, work inside the farm, process vegetables, and learn more about our mission along the way.

We are so grateful for a community that continues to show up and serve alongside us. We truly could not do this work without you!

There’s only a couple of spots left in our May/June CSA run, so if you want to enjoy fresh, delicious produce that is grown without chemicals or pesticides, and grown with lots of love, then join before we close registration. We’ve had a great couple of groups from First Presbyterian Church, Amarillo hanging out with us at The PLACE this week! They brought lunch to the students working hard to learn English in Refugee Language Project’s ESL program. Connecting over a meal is just one way we can love our neighbors…regardless of where they were born or what language they might speak!
