Summary: Pipeline Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing natural gas pipelines and equipment along with performance of work associated with the operation and maintenance of natural gas facilities and pipelines.

Salary: $68,000 or more to be determined based upon experience and qualifications to operate natural gas transmission and distribution facilities.

Requirements:
-Must live within 40 miles of Pampa, TX
-Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
-High school diploma or GED

Qualifications:
-An Associate of Applied Science degree or trade school in a technical specialization is preferred.
-Four to six years of related, progressive work experience is preferred.
-Exceptional organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a group environment
-Proactive and motivated with the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement
-Proficient in mechanical skills
-Competence with computers

Responsibilities:
-Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, and other pipeline equipment in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with ANG’s procedures and regulatory requirements.
-Conduct Damage Prevention activities including pipeline patrols, 811 calls, locating and marking pipelines, and inspecting line crossings, excavations, and other activities affecting the pipeline and pipeline facilities
-Maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements, perform required tasks, and complete associated documentation
-Plan, organize, and prioritize assigned responsibilities and coordinate work with employees and contractors
-Coordinate and communicate with third parties including landowners, public response agencies, contractors, utilities and the general public
-Provide on-call duties on a rotating schedule for emergency response call out 24 hours per day including nights, weekends and holidays.
-Consistent and reliable attendance.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
-Frequent exposure adverse weather conditions.
-Work in and around industrial and construction settings, which may include hazardous products, processes, materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment

Amarillo Natural Gas, Inc. is seeking a full-time Field Operator. This position is exempt and paid semi-monthly, reporting to a Field Supervisor. The typical hours of this position will be Monday-Friday, from 8AM to 5PM. Field Operators are required to be on-call at times, dependent on company needs.

Job Summary: Under minimal supervision, ANG’s Field Operator is responsible for the operations, maintenance, installation, and testing and repair of instruments, controllers, valves, analyzers, measurement equipment and pipelines at the designated facility and associated pipelines.

ANG’s Pipeline Construction Operator is responsible for performing a variety of labor duties to include operating and transporting heavy and specialized equipment for the repair, construction, and maintenance of natural gas pipelines. Pipeline Construction Operators are required to be on-call at times, dependent on company needs.

Requirements and Qualifications:
o Minimum 10 years’ experience operating heavy equipment in the natural gas industry or a related industry.
oAbility to operate light to heavy equipment.
oAbility to recognize malfunction in equipment being operated.
oAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
oAbility to work under adverse weather conditions.
oAbility to communicate effectively.
oValid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
oPhysical requirements include lifting/carrying up to 90 pounds occasionally; pushing a maximum force of 100 pounds; pulling a maximum force of 100 pounds. Subject to standing, sitting, walking, climbing, bending, crawling, squatting, kneeling, and working in cramped and strained positions for long periods of time to perform job scope. Requires visual acuity and speech and hearing.
Working conditions are primarily outside with frequent exposure to inclement weather; wastewater; mechanical, electrical, chemical, and confined space hazards; offensive fumes; excessive noise; heavy traffic; deep excavations; animals, and poisonous insects. Operates a company vehicle daily.

Responsibilities:
oOperate equipment such as trencher, backhoe, excavator, hydrovac and directional bore effectively and within the equipment’s operating capabilities to ensure deadlines of job are met.
oExcavates and backfills trenches in order to complete repairs.
oTransports equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites.
oLoads and unloads materials from trucks.
oStocks vehicle with necessary equipment and material.
oCleans, organizes, and maintains facilities, tools, and equipment.
oWill perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary:
o$54,000 gross annual or $25/per hour. Hours are 50 per week on average.
