Did you know we've been in the middle of an 'eclipse sandwich' that started earlier this month and ends tonight?

If you're looking for a place to view the DEEP partial lunar eclipse (more than 90% coverage!), Wildcat Bluff is a good spot with minimal light pollution.

Don't know about you, but we're ready!

🩹Sir Allen has an owie!🩹 With Allen's mischievous antics, you would never guess he broke his lower beak - mandible - last week!

We called our buddies at Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, who quickly came to the rescue. They hope to re-release him again soon, but for now the pampered boy is enjoying being hand-fed in the air conditioning!

Sometimes learning how to be wild takes time!

Did you know it's a crime to harm a wild raven, or catch one without a permit? Even with the proper permits, we always defer to experts like Wild West to ensure the best care.

We hope to see Allen back on the trails soon!

How many shapes can you see when you step outside? Join us September 11, and find out!

Your little ones aged 5 and under will explore the world through shapes during September’s Toddler Tracks, Nature’s Shapes. Enjoy storytime, craft, and a nature walk around Libb’s trail! Grown ups, don’t forget to grab complimentary coffee from Palace Coffee Company!

Toddler Tracks is a monthly program with two timeslots, 9:00am and 10:00am, and is included with regular admission or Wildcat Bluff/DCC membership. Make sure to bring sun protection and plenty of water.

Old Hollywood comedian WC Fields once said “never work with children or animals” as they often ‘steal’ the spotlight, but what happens when your co-star is a raven with the cognitive skills of a kindergartener?

The animals at Wildcat Bluff are wild, and therefore unpredictable. When encountering them, make sure you give them plenty of space and stay calm. Please do not feed our wildlife (Allen included, even if he asks) for their safety and the safety of others! Help keep Wildcat Bluff wild!

Have you seen the rescue raven hanging around HQ? Learn a little about ravens and how we can help rehabilitated animals like Allen learn how to adjust in the wild!

The animals at Wildcat Bluff are wild, and therefore unpredictable, so give them plenty of space by backing up. If they do approach and get into your personal space, stay calm and move away. For both their safety and the safety of other visitors, please do not feed the wild animals (yes, even if they ask politely or impolitely). Make sure to secure any loose objects as well (we’ve got some very curious critters). Help us keep Wildcat Bluff wild!

This Saturday, hike the last Guided Hike of the Summer (but not the last Guided Hike of the year 👀)!

Explore late-Summer at the Bluff, and learn about its wildlife, history, and so much more with our experienced guides on a moderate to easy hike for all ages!

Check-in begins at 8:45am, and the hike itself will begin at 9:00am. We’ll arrive back at HQ at 10:15am. This monthly program is included with regular admission and Wildcat Bluff or DCC Memberships. Make sure to bring sun protection and plenty of water! See you at the Bluff!
