Thank you Amarillo Steam Team and Sod Poodles for hosting our teacher of the year, Miriah Davis, at the Sod Poodles game tonight. She threw a looping sinker ball for a perfect strike on the first pitch and then provided some color commentary for the radio broadcast.

On May 12th our seniors took an important step toward their future during River Road High School Senior Interview Day. Students prepared professional resumes and participated in mock interviews with business leaders, community members, and professionals from a variety of career fields.

This experience gave our seniors the opportunity to sharpen their communication skills, build confidence, and receive valuable real-world feedback on both their resumes and interview performance.

We are incredibly grateful to the professionals who volunteered their time and expertise to invest in our students and help prepare them for success beyond high school. Experiences like these are helping us create graduates who are career, college, and military ready.

We are proud of our seniors for representing River Road with professionalism, confidence, and excellence!

Thank you again to our interviewers: Dr. Leigh Green, Dr. Brandon Selby, Janet Walker, Abbie Harriman, Stacey Johnson, Daniel Martinez, Carol Lust and Sahar Sheikh.
