We kicked off this month’s drill weekend with our Readiness Rodeo because nothing says “good morning, Shipmates” like knocking out multiple trainings and getting a flu shot before you’ve even finished your coffee. The command also conducted a fire drill, which was executed efficiently in accordance with safety standards.
IT2 Veale delivered an informative presentation on the new Command SharePoint, providing the team with a streamlined way to access resources and stay engaged.
During our Awards Quarter, we recognized several outstanding Sailors for their contributions:
• OS2 Casas for her exceptional support in Funeral Honors.
• IT2 Veale for the creation and implementation of the new Command SharePoint page.
We also introduced our newly appointed MWR Committee, who will lead the command’s morale, welfare and recreation efforts:
• LS1 Nguyen – President
• IT2 Veale – Vice President
• EM2 D**e – Treasurer
• AM2 Cisneros – Secretary
• YN2 Sanchez – Master at Arms
• HT2 Luna – Events Coordinator
We wrapped up the weekend with Command PT, because nothing brings a team together like collectively questioning our life choices while doing laps.
