Coming Home Partners Supporting Amarillo neighbors experiencing homelessness through outreach, housing, and hope.

Coming Home Partners is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness in Amarillo. We provide compassionate outreach, housing navigation, case management, and mental health support to help people move from crisis to stability. We believe in meeting people where they are, honoring their dignity, and walking with them on their journey home. Together, we can build a stronger, more hopeful Amarillo for everyone.

Extreme Weather Activation Alert 3/15/2026

The Coming Home Team is activating due to extreme cold conditions in Amarillo. According to the National Weather Service forecast for the 79101 area, overnight temperatures are expected to fall near 21°F, with wind chill values dropping into the mid-teens, reaching around 15°F early Monday morning.

Please see the attached Cold Weather Shelter Information flyer for shelter locations, hours, transportation information, and ways to receive cold weather alerts. If you need assistance connecting to shelter, please call or text Coming Home at (806) 340-0159 or text COMINGHOME to 888777 for cold weather alerts.

Please check on vulnerable individuals and help share this information with anyone who may need a safe place to stay tonight.

Warming Station Update: The Tyler Street Resource Center (formerly the GSRC) will remain open as a warming Station overnight again tonight Sunday 1/26 through Monday 1/27.

The Coming Home Team is partnering with Transformation Park to ensure additional capacity is available, and the flyer below also includes other daytime and nighttime shelter options.

Warming Station Update: The Tyler Street Resource Center (formerly the GSRC) will open during normal hours on Friday (1/23/2026) and will remain open day and night through at least Sunday (1/25/2026) as a warming station.

The Coming Home Team is partnering with Transformation Park to ensure additional capacity is available, and the flyer below also includes other daytime and nighttime shelter options.
