The Ambler Borough Police Department is saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Montgomery Township Police Sergeant Lee Wagner. We send our sincerest condolences to Sgt. Wagner’s family and his department during this difficult time.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sergeant Lee Wagner who died unexpectedly following a sudden medical emergency on August 19, 2026.
Sergeant Wagner served the Montgomery Township Police Department with distinction for 16 years. Throughout his career, Sergeant Wagner was known for unwavering dedication to the community, commitment to fellow officers, and professionalism in service to others.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Sergeant Wagner’s family, loved ones, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. We ask that the privacy of the family be respected as they grieve this tremendous loss.
Sergeant Wagner will be remembered not only for the badge he proudly wore, but for the lives touched through a career dedicated to protecting and serving others. He believed in putting others before himself, stepping up when others would not, and choosing to provide, protect, and love with his whole heart.
