100 years of showing up for Ambler. 🎉

Last week, the Borough Council and Mayor Jeanne Sorg recognized the Kiwanis Club of Ambler on our 100th Anniversary, and we’re so proud of what a century of service looks like.

Since 1926, we’ve been improving our community one child and one family at a time: founding the Annual Ambler Christmas Parade, hosting the Easter Egg Hunt for 350+ kids at Ricciardi Park, running the 4th of July Carnival and Fireworks, and supporting the Mattie Dixon Food Cupboard, WeCare, Family Promise, the Ambler Youth Alliance, and the Senior Adult Center.

We’ve also allocated $45,000 in funding for our community, part of which will launch a new library at the Boys and Girls Club of Ambler.

Thank you, Ambler. Here’s to the next 100. 💙

The 4th of July Carnival & Fireworks is almost here. Five nights of rides, food, and the best fireworks in Ambler, right at Wissahickon High School.

June 30 through July 4, nightly 6–10 PM, with fireworks on Thursday July 2nd.

Why do we show up every year? 🎆

Because there is nothing quite like being part of the team that makes the whole town show up. The 4th of July Carnival & Fireworks, the rides, the lights, the fireworks, none of it happens without volunteers who live right here in Ambler and choose to give their time to this community. For close to 40 years, Kiwanis has been making this night happen for Ambler, and we want you to be part of it.
