We did it! The all purpose courts at Riccardi Park are now open! Thank you to the Parks and Rec Committee of Ambler Borough Council headed by Jennifer Henderson, Borough Streets Department headed by Vito Pagano and Phil Barecca and Borough Staff for making it happen! We were honored to have the Riccardi Family come for the ceremony, it looks like the Great Great Grandchildren of Patriarch Jimmy Ricciardi are ready to play! ENJOY!

We’ve had quite a week here in Ambler Borough! At Tuesday’s Committee Meeting we were honored to host 11 year old Lachlan Ambler and his Mom, hailing from Hazlet Township N.J. Lachlan is the 6th great cousin of our Borough namesake Mary Ambler. Mayor Sorg presented Lachlan and his mom with honorary citizenship to Ambler Borough. Chief Borkowski added to the fun with a gift of some SWAG from the PD, and a t-shirt from Ambler Main Street.

It was a pleasure to meet an ancestor of someone who is such an important part of the history of the Borough! We hope to see you again soon!

💧 Help Us Reach 100 Cases! 🚒

It’s been a hot summer, and our volunteers have been working hard in the heat. To help keep our firefighters hydrated during emergencies, training, and other responses, we’re challenging our community to donate 100 cases of bottled water or sports drinks by the end of August!

Every bottle makes a difference! Donations can be dropped off at anytime, just be mindful of our need to respond quickly to emergencies. Please place any donations near the personnel doors and not in front of the apparatus bays! Station addresses can be found below:
