Due to the predicted road and weather conditions, school is canceled for Monday, March 16th.

Good evening, this is Joshua Nichols, Superintendent of the Amboy school district, with an important message regarding school tomorrow. Due to the predicted blizzard-like conditions, school is canceled for Monday, March 16th, including all preschool classes. A decision about tomorrow’s evening and afternoon extracurricular and athletic activities will be made tomorrow morning. This is a snow day and not an e-learning or remote learning day. This day will be made up later in the year. Once again, due to the predicted weather conditions, the Amboy School District is closed for Monday, March 16th, and a decision about afternoon extracurricular activities and athletics will be made tomorrow morning. Due to the predicted cold weather tomorrow morning, school is canceled for Friday, January 23rd.

Good afternoon, this is Joshua Nichols, Superintendent of the Amboy School District, with an important message regarding school tomorrow. Due to the predicted excessive cold conditions tomorrow morning, I am canceling school for Friday, January 23rd, and this includes all preschool classes. At this time, Amboy High School’s Friday afternoon and evening extracurricular and athletic activities are not canceled. Amboy Junior High School’s Friday afternoon and evening extracurricular and athletic activities are canceled. Once again, due to the predicted excessive cold weather, the Amboy School District is closed on Friday, January 23rd. Thank you and have a good afternoon.

Amboy Education Association Supports Local Food Banks
This holiday season, the teachers and members of the Amboy Education Association (AEA) wanted to step up to support our community.

Recognizing the continued scarcity of food, especially as the holidays approach, the AEA is proud to announce a donation for two critical local food banks: Teen Turf and St. Patrick's Church.

Our goal is simple: to help ensure that no student or resident in Amboy goes hungry through the holidays. We believe in supporting our community inside and outside the classroom.

We are proud that we were able to help these wonderful organizations continue their work in supporting our students and neighbors!
