Excited to announce that industrial and mechanical fabricator McCarl’s LLC is investing $15 million to expand its operations in Aliquippa, where a new fabrication hub will create 130 new jobs. I’ve been advocating for this project for more than a year, and I can’t wait to see Beaver County's economy grow!

It was an exciting day in Beaver County this week delivering remarks and welcoming Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding to Penn State Beaver Campus for the ribbon cutting of the $6 Million Keystone Animal Diagnostic Center.

The legislature working together with Governor Josh Shapiro made this critical investment in our 2024-25 bi-partisan budget. It was a priority for me and Senator Vogel to secure this funding and selection in Beaver County supporting Western Pennsylvania Farmers.

The lab expands Pennsylvania's capacity to respond to animal disease outbreaks, speeding diagnoses for farmers in the western part of the state, lowering their business costs, and helping protect their animals and investments.
