🚨 **AIR QUALITY ALERT & 911 CALLS** 🚨

We are currently experiencing poor air quality due to wildfire smoke from Canada.

Our 911 lines have been receiving a high volume of calls about the air quality today. While we understand these concerns, these calls can delay responses to active, life-threatening emergencies and prevent dispatchers from answering emergency calls as quickly as possible.

**To Protect Yourself:**
✅ Stay indoors and keep windows and doors closed.
✅ Set your home A/C and vehicle ventilation to **"recirculate"** to help keep outside air from entering.
✅ Limit outdoor activity, especially strenuous exercise.

⚠️ **Sensitive groups**—including children, older adults, and anyone with respiratory conditions such as asthma or COPD—should remain indoors as much as possible.

Please **do not call 911** to ask about air quality conditions. If you would like air quality updates, please visit the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection's Air Quality Index page:
