Happy Earth Day 🌎💚

Today is a reminder that caring for our planet doesn’t have to be overwhelming—it starts with the small, everyday choices we make. Whether it’s getting outside with your kids, planting something new, reducing waste, or simply slowing down to appreciate God’s creation, it all matters.

This beautiful world we’ve been given is worth protecting—for today and for the generations coming after us. Let’s be good stewards of what we’ve been entrusted with.

Would any of our local patrons be interested in us sharing unique or more specialized books here and on Instagram? We know some titles appeal to a smaller audience—like books for expecting parents or those following specific diets—and we’d love to get them into the hands of people who will truly use them rather than have them sit on the shelf.

If that sounds helpful, we can post these books, and anyone interested can comment or reach out. We’ll then place the book in the library for you to pick up!

They’re displayed in a unique 3D-printed holder, generously created by one of our local patrons.

Be sure to grab a bookmark when you stop by! We’re also excited to begin repurposing well-loved (but too worn) books into handmade bookmarks—giving them a second life for others to enjoy. 📚✨

Our April restock arrived a little early—and it’s a great one! We’ve added a wide variety of books and materials to celebrate all kinds of fun days this month. Stay tuned for a peek at some of the exciting new additions to the library!

Our Little Free Library is getting some attention, and it’s so exciting to see it being used! We’ve had three people check in on the LFL app so far. While no one has signed the guest book yet, we’d love for visitors to leave a quick note or check in—it helps us know the library is being enjoyed.

In just four months, we’ve seen books come and go (just as they should!), along with a wonderful variety of new titles being added. We’d call that a great success!
