In 1966 the price for a gallon of gas was .32 cents and a stamp was .05 cents. The Chevrolet Camaro was introduced. A whole lot of wonderful things happened the year Donna Kelly was born. Today we celebrated with Donna turning 60 years old. We applaud you, we appreciate you, we thank you for your wisdom and grace, and we wish you a truly wonderful birthday month 🎂. You are a very special part of the MFCOA team! Happy Birthday 🎉 Donna Kelly! We wish you many, many, more!

Rewarding Hard Work!

Middle Flint Council On Aging is a meals on wheels provider for the State Of Georgia.

Our company promotes just that. But what most people do not realize is how many people that it takes to do that. How many kitchens / kitchen staff, how many people that report to work every day by 4:00am, how many drivers that it takes to deliver meals through out Georgia.

What I can tell you is Middle Flint Council On Aging recognizes hard work and Norman Graves, CEO does dedicate one day where all employees come together under one roof for a day of appreciation. A day of fun, good fellowship, good food, drawings, and awards.

A big thanks to all that helped make the day possible. Shout out to Norman Graves, CEO and Ruth Stalvey, Food Service Director.

Thank you Middle Flint Council On Aging, Council Services, and Golden Gourmet for all that you do!

2025 Senior Picnic did not disappoint. The weather was wonderful, busses and busses came from all over Georgia.

The theme this year was Let’s Make A Deal.

Funnel cakes, popcorn, ice cream, grilled out hamburgers and hot dogs on the premises by the Americus Fire Department was available today.

Games, Vendors, and D.J. Travis had the seniors very busy until lunch was served.

Shout outs to: Mr. Norman Graves, CEO for having a senior picnic in recognition of Older American’s Month in May. Also, a big shout out to the many, many seniors that came long distances for the picnic. Shout out to all MFCOA staff for all they do, To Council Services for all the hard work with the food preparations and serving the seniors in fantastic time, to Golden Gourmet for all of their help. Shout out to all of our Vendors and shout out to D.J. Travis for keeping the music going.

As we end this day, and such a great day it was we are already talking about next year. So mark your calendar May 12, 2026. See you then.

Middle Flint Council On Aging delivering meals on wheels all across the State Of Georgia and into Florida. The picture below represents this wonderful company that is committed to seeing the deliveries through each day. The staff came together October 25, 2024 to enjoy a time of fellowship , a time to meet those we had not met, and time to reflect on this amazing company. Mr. Norman Graves, CEO and Director, Ruth Stalvey, Regional Kitchen Director, Ed Shattles General Manager we would like to express our gratitude to each of you. Shout out to all the staff that help make each phone call, each meal, each delivery for our seniors.
