Can I have everyone help me welcome one of the newest members of the Iowa Army National Guard! Caden took his oath to enlistment today!

Caden has joined as an 11B - Infantry, and upon completing this required training will be joining the 133rd Infantry Battalion! As well as utilizing all of his education benefits to pursue a degree at UNI.

Very proud of this young man. His grit and determination are second to none and I look forward to seeing the heights he will reach! Go Red Bulls! Go Guard!

Day one.

Today is day one of the Winston P. Wilson competition hosted by the National Guard Marksmanship Training Center 💥. Staff Sgt. Austin Fier and Sgt. Aaron McAndrews are representing the Iowa National Guard as a team.

The two come from the same unit: Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 168th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division. They happen to have the same goal: to win💪.
