Headline: From the Classroom to the Catwalk! 👠✨

Join the Rotary Club of Ames this Monday as we go "behind the seams" of one of the largest student-run fashion shows in the nation!

We are thrilled to host Sarah Bennett-George and the talented student leaders behind The Fashion Show at Iowa State University. Celebrating over 40 years of innovation, this massive production is entirely student-managed—from garment design and set construction to tech and marketing.

Meet the team leading the charge:

Sarah Bennett-George (Faculty Advisor & Teaching Professor)

Student Leaders: Anna Weber, Megan Ream, Mallory David, and Emma Lea Werling.

Come learn how these students are preparing for careers at top fashion houses while managing a production that draws thousands to C.Y. Stephens Auditorium every April.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿: 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗻
Justin Claus is the Public Works Director with the City of Ames, a role he began serving in February 2025. Before stepping into this leadership position, Justin spent 14 years with the City of Ames as Operations Manager and Construction Supervisor. He also brings a decade of experience from the private industry, having worked on roads and bridges across Iowa. Justin holds a Construction Engineering degree from Iowa State University.
